Never miss a word again
THEY COME, THEY LISTEN. THEY GO HOME.
You’ve invested hundreds, thousands, even hundreds of thousands into this year’s company conference. The logistics of drawing an entire team to this event has been a challenge and your team excelled to deliver it on time and in style.
From the key messaging, the hours of crafted word perfect presentations, what has the audience retained?
What nuggets of information will they return back to their departments with? What was learned? What will be put into practise on Monday morning? Who missed it? Who reached overload during the afternoon sessions and effectively stopped listening albeit only briefly?
Maybe some attendees made copious notes, perhaps some know the Charting or Cornell method? Could it be that mind maps were started alongside the margin doodles during a day consuming facts, thoughts and exciting plans for the future? Or are the note books you thoughtfully provided still bound by the elastic fastener, unopened, unmarked?
WHY EVENT CAST?
Think of an Event Cast as you would a podcast. Downloadable, repeatable, on demand recall from your conference, seminar or workshop.
Event Casts record the key audio from a day allowing for omission of selected sensitive company data if required.
Recordings can be edited and serialised into shorter episodes, effectively creating a ‘season.’ Narration can be applied to link material together and even Q&A sessions can be expertly recorded to feature within your Event Cast.
Event Casts additionally extend the life of a conference or seminar, making it available to those unable to attend due to distance, prior business obligations and a myriad of other reasons.
WHY NOT VIDEO?
Watching back film footage in real time is time consuming in a way that audio is not. That’s because audio can be enjoyed in a passive state, whilst travelling, completing chores and activities such as exercise.
INFORMATION RETENTION
People share learning experiences through narrative form effectively. The retention rate of audio learning is twice as strong as reading. There is a brain stimulating and addictive effect of audio learning.
SMALLER EVENTS AND EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES
Breakout sessions, workshops and intimate seminars are an excellent way to educate smaller numbers of staff. Record and share the audio from smaller events and piece together as a narrated story, so that more people from your organisation can benefit from events not logistically profitable to attend.

Prepare your audience
PRE-EVENT CAST
Conferences take much work to organise, write and build.
Preceding this big calendar event, serialise a short set of podcasts to include pre-event experiences. Interview key speakers internally and externally to build excitement and anticipation. Help your attendees engage more closely with your event and the special features that are planned.
These podcasts can be consumed by staff members either at Intranet level, or in password protected podcast form, so that they may listen at home, in the gym and whilst travelling.
CALLS TO ACTION
Run incentive lead competitions within the Pre-Event Cast to further encourage strong association with upcoming conferences and seminars, calls to action that could dovetail into actual presentations; a jigsaw effect that benefits both organisation and listener.
COVER PREREQUISITE INFORMATION
Podcast information that assists delegates and attendees with prior conference information, either logistical or product based, so that elemental material does not take up stage time on the day.
COUNTDOWN TO EVENT
In the five days prior to event, a short diary episode each day with key logistics information and short teasers from key speakers.
